FLORENCE, STROZZI PALACE AND TOMÁS SARACENO

29 Feb FLORENCE, STROZZI PALACE AND TOMÁS SARACENO

From February 22 to July 19, 2020, Palazzo Strozzi in Florence is hosting the exhibition dedicated to the Argentinian artist Tomás Saraceno. The large rooms, perfect in their harmonious geometry, lend themselves to the reception of fragments of microcosm which, in turn, evoke a universe to be discovered and admired in a relationship of links and correspondences.  A journey through the complex and perfect geometries of real cosmic spider webs and small hot air balloons that evoke the human desire, since Leonardo’s memory, to be able to fly. The protagonist is the idea of the “individual” (the meaning of this word is fundamental) which is reflected in a macrocosm made of harmony and mathematical logic, to which it belongs and with which, at the same time, it interacts positively and negatively.  Art becomes the basis of a deep and concrete existential philosophical reflection, which touches for us current and burning issues. An exhibition to discover, to experience and to delve deeply into.

Florence, Palazzo Strozzi February 22 to July 19.
